Skye was born to rich parents who orphaned her at a young age. She was raised by a ruffian uncle who was not much older than 15 when she came into his care. Being a poor parents, Skye raised herself mostly. When she was 16, her uncle died over cheating at sabacc. Over the years, all that cheating had earned him a fair bit of money, all of which he left to his sole heir, Skye, along with what her parents had left her, as well as her uncle's ship and other various things. Skye took up smuggling, and then pirating, before being killed at the hands of Jacen Solo. Resurrected not long afterwards, Skye tried to return to pirating, but it had lost its lure. Instead, she fell into the arms of Obi-Wan Skywalker, about the only man able to tame her. However, even Obi couldn't tie Skye down. Brought up as a smuggler, she knew no other way of life and took off to life the live she was destined to live. …or so she thought. Skye shockingly discovered (perhaps not too shockingly) that she was pregnant. It was bound to happen sooner or later, but she was surprised that, of all people, it had happened with Obi. Knowing that Obi had broken the Jedi code just to be with her in the first place, she couldn't bring herself to tell him they'd soon have a child together, an even more tell-tale sign that he'd broken the code to hell and back. Telling no one of her condition, Skye returned to her homeplanet of Corellia to have her child by herself. For the last three years Skye has been on Corellia raising her son, Garik Larken Skywalker, hiding him and her from the world she once knew.
